Where the pace slows — and the thoughts follow
There are meetings enough as it is. They come in every shape and size — with screens, agendas, and breaks scheduled down to the last energy bar. But sometimes, what you need is not more equipment.
It is more calm.
A place where conversation is allowed to think itself through. Where the pace slows a little, and an idea may linger in the room for a moment before a decision is made.
Quiet. Small. Private.
And should fresh air be needed, both the sea and the woods are just outside.
A Room for Unhurried Meetings
Hold your meeting in the Library
Some meetings require little more than a table.
A quiet room. Coffee, paper, and a few uninterrupted hours.
That is why we have a library.
Here, meetings are held at a pace where thoughts can keep up.
Views over the courtyard, with the inn’s kitchen just next door.
The rest is left to conversation.

Meetings, the Taarbæk Kro Way
Sometimes it helps to take a walk.
To go for a dip.
Or to lie back in a sun lounger for a moment and let the thoughts gather.
That is why we also offer meetings conducted somewhat differently.
Business Sea Dip
A suggestion for the courageous director
Should you, midway through quarterly targets, arrive at the conclusion that clarity is best found in cold water, we offer the following:
Borrow a bathrobe.
Take a dip in the sea.
Come back up again.
In Taarbæk, this is how many conversations begin.
Lunch and coffee are then served on the terrace or rooftop, where both hair and opinions may dry in peace.
Woodland Meeting
For those who occasionally take the road less travelled
Take your colleagues somewhere the path is not paved.
For the outing, the inn prepares a handcart with coffee and provisions.
Should you wish, we will even mark the route on a map: through the woods, past the churchyard, down towards the beach, or further into Dyrehaven.
You choose the terrain. We take care of the rest.
And when decisions have fallen like leaves, the inn awaits with the fire lit — or drinks on the terrace — depending on the weather.
Meeting with a Nap
For those bold enough to sleep on it
It is said that companies in Manhattan once installed sleeping pods for their employees.
For tired decisions are rarely good decisions.
We have adopted the idea.
And given it a sea view.
Hold your meeting. Enjoy lunch in The Main Hall.
Then settle into a sun lounger on the terrace — or the rooftop — and sleep on it for a while.
Some decisions are best made at the table.
Others after one has slept on them.
