The Main Hall
The Main Hall at Taarbæk Kro is the heart of the Inn. Nothing less. Here you can enjoy a delicious dinner with simple, seasonal appetisers and main courses all year round from Wednesday to Saturday, along with the best view in town. The Main Hall is the obvious choice for a cosy and tasty end to the day or an atmospheric start to the evening. The Main Hall is simply and informally furnished with both small and long tables, and who knows, maybe you will sit with someone who inspires new conversations and surprising choices from the menu.

About the Inn’s kitchen
Taarbæk Kro's kitchen is dedicated to simple, hearty and tasty food, just as the waiting staff are dedicated to service, joy and community. The Inn's food philosophy is about elevating everyday life. Our goal with each dish is to use the best seasonal ingredients to create simple and inspiring temptations that suits the eyes, stomach and soul. Because we use seasonal ingredients, we also change our menu regularly, so you can enjoy your favourite dish several times as well as trying something new. We also strive to use as many local ingredients as possible. So, if you know a good producer we haven't met yet, we'd love to hear about them!

Friday-Saturday: 5.30 p.m.-11 p.m.
Sunday-Tuesday: closed.

Is it always summer in Taarbæk? You could be forgiven for thinking so, because here the light is always present, regardless of the season. The sky around Taarbæk is bluer than blue, greyer than grey. More delicate pink, lavender purple, jet black. More creamy white, lemon yellow, acid green. Colours we have brought into the rooms. The secret ingredient is the meeting of elements: the sea that mirrors the sky and creates depth and enhances all its nuances, regardless of the evening's colour scheme. You tend to have better conversations in the summer. Living more freely. More easily. More kindly. That happens all year round at the Inn. We call it the Taarbæk effect.
